月刊。BONE是国际骨与矿物质学会(IBMS)发行的期刊。国际骨和矿物质学会(International Bone & Mineral Society,IBMS)是加拿大一个非营利性国际组织,旨在构建一个全球性的科学网络,推动骨骼健康的发展。“多样性、完整性、独创性、教育和网络”是该学会最具代表性的特点。学会设置了多种奖励,在每2年举办的IBMS国际会议上为在骨和矿物质代谢科学研究中做出杰出贡献的团体和个人颁发奖项,鼓励科学家科研和创新。BONE收录骨与矿物质代谢领域的基础、转化及临床研究方面的原创性文章和综述。该刊同样鼓励作者投稿骨与其他器官系统相互作用的文章,并尤为关注实验性研究在临床中应用的内容。
