I was pleased to be given the opportunity to review the third edition of Comprehensive Clinical Nephrology, the goal of which is to provide 'comprehensive coverage' of contemporary nephrology. All chapters have been extensively revised and updated. Furthermore, a new chapter on Intensive Care Unit Nephrology has been added.
