Journal of anatomical society of India publishes original scientific papers and review articles on all aspects of anatomy and allied subjects (excluding invertebrate morphology ) , which contribute in understanding developments, histology, evolution and function through a broad range of anatomical approach. Reports on annual meetings and abstracts of research papers presented during the annual conference of the anatomical society of India are also published.
The journal is issued twice a year (June and December), accepts only original papers concisely written in English which are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The Editor reserves the right to improve on style and grammar and make corrections accordingly. and,if necessary return the manuscript for rewriting to the author. After acceptance of paper , internet uploading charges will be @ Rs. 50/- per page for all the pages of the articles published. Apart from this , authors will have to pay for planning ,scanning ,plate making & printing on art paper @ Rs. 500/- per black & white photograph , @ Rs. 1000/- per coloured photograph & @ Rs. 500/- per table, graph & drawn figures.If the total ammount of the bill is less than Rs. 1000/- it will be considered rounded off to the minimum payment of Rs. 1000/-. Ten reprints will be supplied to the author by the society.
