We report a man with advanced adenocarcinoma who harboring exon 19 (E746-A750del) epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) deletion and echinoderm microtubule-associated protein like 4-anaplastic lymphoma kinase (EML4-ALK) gene translocation in the re-biospy specimen. The patient was treated with erlotinib with a stable disease but progressed slowly, while crizotinib showed a complete response. © 2013 Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
