抗癌药BiCNU(卡莫司汀)因装药过满而被部分召回

圣路易斯(MD Consult)——2012年8月30日，百时美施贵宝(Bristol-Myers Squibb)宣布主动召回10个批次的BiCNU (注射用卡莫司汀)。这些产品是由百时美的第三方合同生产商Ben Venue Laboratories生产的。之所以决定召回是因为此前在一次例行检查中发现1个BiCNU药瓶装药过满。

BiCNU药瓶装药过满可能导致实际用药剂量大于处方剂量，从而使患者面临很大风险。潜在不良事件包括骨髓抑制、肺毒性、肾功能异常以及增加其他卡莫司汀已知不良事件的发生率。目前尚未收到与该问题相关的不良事件报告。

BiCNU主要用于治疗脑肿瘤、多发性骨髓瘤、霍奇金病以及非霍奇金淋巴瘤。

这次召回的BiCNU产品是于2010年3月~2011年7月期间配售的，具体批号如下：

ST LOUIS (MD Consult) - On August 30, 2012, Bristol-Myers Squibb announced a voluntary recall of 10 lots of BiCNU (carmustine for injection). These products were manufactured by Ben Venue Laboratories, a third-party contractor. The decision to conduct this recall was made after the discovery of 1 overfilled vial of BiCNU during routine testing.

An overfilled vial of BiCNU represents a significant risk because of the possibility that a patient could receive a dose greater than prescribed. Potential adverse events include myelosuppression, pulmonary toxicity, renal abnormality, as well as increased incidence of other adverse events known to be caused by carmustine. No adverse events associated with this issue have been reported.

BiCNU is used in the treatment of brain tumors, multiple myeloma, Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Adverse reactions experienced with the use of the recalled products may be reported to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting Program.
